In his late twenties; he possesses a mature coolness that belies his youth.

He is broad-minded enough to say "Sounds good" even to the reckless antics of Takato and the others—though since he says it to absolutely everything, people suspect it might just be a verbal tic. He’s the sort of troublesome teacher who refuses to let go of the microphone at karaoke. His educational philosophy is to never reprimand students for their actions, operating instead on the principle that they must clean up their own messes.

There is a part of him that seems to want to remain a mere bystander at all times.
