She is the eldest daughter of the Soya family, a distinguished lineage of Blue Mermaids. She is the daughter of Mayuki Soya and the older sister of Mafuyu and Mashiro Soya.

An honor student with a serious nature and no weak subjects, she achieved the remarkable feat of both entering and graduating at the top of her class at the maritime academy.

She serves as the Chief of the Safety Supervision Office and a First-Class Safety Supervisor, making her the current highest-ranking official of the Blue Mermaids. At Mayuki's request, she works tirelessly to investigate various situations.
