Youji Hino

Michio's father. A scientist working for the Neo U.N. in order to develop the new Salvator-model that is Mark Sein. Left the island five years before the events of Fafner in the Azure: Dead Aggressor, taking his son with him.

In Dead Agressor: Communicated with the Festum Mjölnir. Has a conversation with Kazuki after he's been captured by the NUN, offering him another way of living outside fighting. When the Human Army's Moldova base is raided by Festum, he asks Mjölnir to hand Mark Sein over to Kazuki. He then hands his research files to Maya before self-destructing along with his lab to keep his research out of Festum hands.
