He serves as a guardian to Malleus, though he often loses track of his charge—who tends to act on impulse—and has to search for him. Unlike Sebek, however, he does not feel the need to be constantly by Malleus's side; he recognizes that Malleus sometimes desires solitude, a stance that frequently leads to arguments with Sebek.

Though a man of few words, he is flexible and open to listening to others' opinions. He is calm, composed, and possesses excellent judgment, consistently making the best decisions even in emergencies. While his demeanor is gentle and his tone generally kind, he fits the archetype of a character who becomes truly terrifying when angered.

He never slacks in his efforts or training—whether in physical conditioning or swordsmanship—ensuring he is always capable of protecting the person he is sworn to guard.

His magical pen differs in shape from those of others; it is a large, rod-like implement adorned with black horns and thorn motifs. Too large to fit in a uniform pocket, he carries it suspended from his belt at his waist. At a glance, it resembles a sword.

He frequently falls asleep during classes and training sessions. However, he claims this isn't by choice; he suffers from a troublesome constitution where he cannot control the conditions under which he falls asleep. Interestingly, this condition vanishes when he dreams—though, naturally, that is because he is already asleep.
