Joy Boy was a man from the Great Kingdom born at the start of the Void Century.

Joy Boy ate the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allowed him to become an incarnation of the ever-playful sun god, Nika. It gave him a body with the properties of rubber, giving him the freedom to fight however he wanted.
