**Height:** 156 cm (5'1") Responsible for operating and firing the No. 1 torpedo tube on the Harekaze. Although she has a laid-back personality, she excels at bowling, an interest influenced by her mother—a top-tier professional bowler in Japan. She first met fellow bowling enthusiast Kayoko Himeji when they competed against each other in a tournament; the two have since become best friends. She aspired to become a torpedo operator after observing the movement of torpedoes traveling underwater and sensing a similarity to bowling. Her family runs a long-established hot spring inn in Gunma Prefecture—a landlocked region—and she was originally expected to succeed her mother as the inn's proprietress; however, her family allowed her to enroll in the maritime school after she expressed a strong desire to do so. Perhaps due to her experience helping out at the inn, she is skilled at calculations. She is one of only four (or possibly five) crew members aboard the ship who hold a medium-sized vessel skipper's license.
