At first Rena appears to be a lost 9-year-old girl, discovered by [Kazuya](https://anilist.co/character/7115/Saotome-Kazuya) and [May](https://anilist.co/character/7109/May). However, she is another cyberdoll sent by Cyberdyne to recover May. Rena decides that she likes Kazuya and [Ikariya](https://anilist.co/character/36983/Ikariya) and does not return with May to Cyberdyne, instead she moves in with [Kasumi](https://anilist.co/character/7114/Tani-Kasumi).
